GRACIA MARIE DAIGNAULT (nee ROBIDOUX) September 29, 1920 - October 9, 2009 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gracia at the St. Boniface Hospital with her family at her side. She leaves to mourn seven children, Adelard (Alice), Gilles (Helen), Annette (Wally Sandul), Jeannette (Terry Radley), Marcel (Sharon), Rene (Susanne), Diane (Philip Chan), 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren and her sisters, Emelie Valcourt, Antonia Allard and brother Henri Robidoux. She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years Gustave in 1997, daughters, Therese, Rose Marie, Viola, Rochelle and sons, Cyrille, Maurice and Hector. Gracia was born in St. Boniface and raised at Beaudre Farm, Cartier Municipality. She married Gustave in 1937 and raised their family in St. Francois Xavier and Headingley before moving to Winnipeg. Following a busy life raising her family, Gracia was employed for 20 years; retiring at age 60. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. After experiencing difficult challenges Gracia was always strong and supportive for her family and kept her faith. The family wishes to thank the amazing staff of St. Boniface Hospital Palliative Care. A special thanks to Dr. Elin Bergman for her care over the years. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Boniface Hospital Palliative Care, Patient Comfort Fund, 409 Tache Ave, Winnipeg, MB R2H 2A6. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at 10:15 a.m. at Chapel Lawn, 4000 Portage Ave, with Father Gerald Langevin officiating. Chapel Lawn 885-9715
