LAINA HAYNE 1918-2009 Laina Hayne went to be with her beloved Lord on Saturday, October 10, 2009. Born and raised in Thunder Bay, she died peacefully at Luther Home at the age of 90 years. Predeceased by husband Wilfred, parents Jacob and Lydia Karioja and her sister Miriam Cox, she will be dearly missed by her daughters Sharonne Montgomery (Bill) and Susan Klips (George), as well as, her grandchildren Brooke and Craig Montgomery, Ryan Klips, Lori Jede and great grandchildren Meghan and Taylor Jede and Lauren Klips. Laina was known for her laughter, big smile, love of family and her passionate love for cats. Funeral will held on Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Viewing will be held from 1:30 to 2:00 p.m. Our heartfelt thanks to Luther Home for their compassionate care for Laina and the family The family gratefully declines flowers but donations in Laina's memory may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society.
