Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDOROTHY BULLMAN (nee Stenson) December 29, 1918 - October 9, 2009 Peacefully on Friday, October 9th, 2009 with her family by her side at Beausejour Hospital, mom left us to join dad who predeceased her on January 5th, 1989. Mom was born in Winnipeg December 29, 1918 to George and Eva Stenson. Mom was raised in Winnipeg till she married dad October 12, 1946 where they farmed the family farm in Lydiatt, MB and raised their three children. They both were very involved in the community and with their church in Lydiatt. They retired to Beausejour and lived a very active life. Their friends were very important to them and they spent many hours bowling, fishing, golfing, playing cards, especially loving to dance. After dad's passing mom never had idle hands. She'd be in her garden, she loved her flowers. She was a strong loving person who was always there for everyone whether it be sewing, knitting, crocheting, her many ceramic pieces, or donating her time to her church, the Legion, East Gate Lodge, Togs Treasures, visiting, and many more. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her children Eleanor (Eugene) Stefaniuk, David (Linda) Bullman, and Raymond Bullman; grandchildren Lorene (Jeff) Sawchuk, Shawn (Marny) Bullman, Derek (Amber) Bullman; great-grandchildren Rhyan, Rhys, and Nohva Bullman; sisters Margaret Jackson, Irene Keilback; brother Wilf (Jan) Stenson; sisters-in-law Olga, Jean, and Alma Bulman as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by parents George and Eva Stenson; brothers Stan (Vi), Harry, Maurice (Marie), Cyril (Ann), Gordon Stenson; sisters Alice (Art) Sharpe, Evelyn (Carl) Bullman; brothers-in-law Archie Jackson, Joe Keilback, Emil (Lena), Fred (Martha), Carl (Evelyn), Daniel (Florence), William, August Bullman; sister-in-law Edith (Vern) Byhre; and Dorothy's son-in-law Larry Frank. Sincere thanks and appreciation to Dr. D. Schmidt and the wonderful angels at Beausejour Hospital for their care and compassion to mom and the family. Viewing will be held Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at Sobering Funeral Chapel, 1035 Park Avenue, Beausejour, Manitoba from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will follow on Wednesday, October 14 at 2:00 p.m. also at the Sobering Funeral Chapel with Pastor Bart Coleman officiating. Interment will follow in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Beausejour. Pallbearers will be Gordon Molinski, Doug Bullman, Brian Harack, Shawn Bullman, Derek Bullman, and Ralph Jackson. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Beausejour Hospital TV Fund or a charity of your choice. You never asked for favours, you did them every day, you never asked for help, and yet you gave so much away. You never asked for gratitude, and yet our whole life through, We'll always be so grateful, just to have had your love and you.
