To the only cousin I ever was close with. I have so many wonderful memories of our adventures in Petersfield when we were kids as well as our trip to Florida. I was so sad to find out you had passed away and even more sad that I didn't find out until 6 months after you had. I will never forget your orange motorcycle that you saved up to buy, how proud you were of it, or our mutual love of music. It was you that turned me on to the Beatles when I was only 7. When we grew older and apart, I missed you....but I always thought someday we would re-connect. I continue to tell stories to people about you/us. Now you're gone, and like so many other things through our lives that get lost in the journey, I deeply regret not reaching out with more verve and tenacity. I hope with all my heart that your final journey was peaceful and pain free. Goodbye cousin... - Posted by: Gord Houghton (cousin) on: Apr 17, 2016

I'm very sad to hear this. I lived in the same building when Harold lived on Langside. He got me into computers and the internet. The last time I saw Harold was at his mother's on Alexander. I ordered pizza and chicken that time. We used to go to a buffet chinese food across from circle k on sherbrook and broadway. I know he was always self conscious about having that 3rd plate. I didn't know Harold had passed on, but I was praying till 4 am and something spoke to my inner being telling me to type in the obituary of Harold Houle and there it was. I knew it was his cause I remember him talking about Matty. He loved that boy. I remember his mother Lorraine also. I'm sorry I didn't see him before he passed on. Now all I have is memories. Take care. May he rest in peace. - Posted by: Douglas Grawberger (friend ) on: Feb 06, 2015
