WANDA JOYCE NORMAND (nee MEISNER) December 19, 1958 - October 11, 2009 Peacefully, after a lengthy illness with her husband by her side, Wanda passed away at the Health Sciences Centre at the age of 50. Wanda was predeceased by her beloved parents, David and Sheila Meisner. She will be sadly missed by her husband Guy of fourteen years; her sons, Dustin (Lisa) Wilde, Jeremy (Courtney) Wilde; stepsons, Kenneth (Amy), Michael (Megan); grandsons, Parker, Hunter, Keelin, Ashton, Ethan and granddaughter Anabella; brothers, Ralph (Katie), Wade (Kelvin); brothers-in-law, Wayne (Adeline), Jean-Paul (Kathy); sister-in-law Agnes (Rodney) Lepine and numerous extended family. Wanda was born in Winnipeg and was a long time resident of Transcona. Wanda was employed for many years in the logistics field and went on to receive her class one and enjoyed her time driving. Prior to her illness she enjoyed gardening, quilting, jigsaw puzzles and evenings with many of her family and friends especially time with her grandchildren and camping in St. Malo with her husband. She was very happy to spend the last days of summer in St. Malo with family. We wish to thank all who cared for Wanda. A special thank you to Lorraine and cousin Bev for their support. In keeping with Wanda's wishes, cremation has taken place, and a memorial service celebrating her life will be held on Friday, October 16 at 11:00 a.m. in the Holy Family Church, 778 Archibald Street.
