ORRIE PILIPCHUK Orrie Pilipchuk of Winnipeg passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2009, at the Deer Lodge Centre, Winnipeg, at the age of 62 years. Orrie is survived by three daughters: Tammy (Ron) Penner of Steinbach, Carrie (Dave) Smith of LaBroquerie, Vanessa (Jay) Kocka of Valley City, North Dakota; seven grandchildren; mother, Rose Pilipchuk of Sandy Lake; two brothers: Stanley (Germaine) Pilipchuk of Winnipeg, Don Pilipchuk of Winnipeg, sister Sylvia Ireland of Winnipeg and his Deer Lodge family. The funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at the Holy Ghost Ukrainian Catholic Church, Sandy Lake, with interment to follow in the parish cemetery. Father Michael Tkachuk will officiate. If friends so desire donations may be made to the Sandy Lake Community in Bloom, PO Box 282, Sandy Lake, Manitoba R0J 1X0 or to the Winnipeg Humane Society.
