JOAN BOYD THOMSON (nee GIBB) Joan Boyd Thomson (nee Gibb) passed away peacefully at Foothills Hospital, Calgary on October 6, 2009. Joan will be lovingly remembered by Allan, her husband of 67 years, her children, Bob (Heather) of Ottawa, David (Christine), Maureen (Rick) Wolcott and Nancy (Alan) Birch, all of Calgary. Nonie's life was enriched by her nine grandchildren, Kim Wolcott-Tindall, Boyd Thomson, Jason Wolcott, Brendan Thomson, Pam Thomson, Meghan Wolcott, Erin Nayeri, Candace Birch and Tracey Birch, and her great-grandson Benjamin Tindall. She will also be remembered by many nieces and nephews and long time friends, especially Georgie Holt of Winnipeg and Dot Walton of Brandon.
