Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKEITH BRYANT COX 1949 2009 Suddenly on Monday, October 12, 2009 Keith Bryant Cox much loved husband and father, son-in-law, brother, brother-in-law and uncle passed away with his family by his side at the Health Sciences Centre from a long battle with kidney disease. He was born on June 6, 1949 in Selkirk, Manitoba, where he resided most of his life. He was an employee at the City of Winnipeg where he finished his final career. He worked on construction sites, drove gravel trucks, cement trucks, but he loved to operate graders and loaders on snow removal. He enjoyed attending fiddling contests and old time dances where ever he found them. He loved to go to parades, fairs, and rodeo and cherished camping adventures with his family. He is survived by his wife Kristine, daughters Diane (Melvin) and Karen (Ron); sons Brian and Chris; father-in-law Magnus; sisters Irene and Beverly; brothers-in-law David (Doris) and Billy (Lil); sisters-in-law Susan and Lillian (Chris) and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Robert and Edna, brother and sister-in-law George and Eileen, brother Wayne and mother-in-law Julia Magnusson. Our memories of the time we had help the pain to go away Dad and Husband, our lives won't be the same. We will miss you every day. A part of us went with you. You left a gap too big to fill. You are our father and our hero. We love you and always will ....... A prayer service will be held on Friday, October 16, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. at the Gilbart Funeral Chapel in Selkirk with a viewing one hour prior to service. Cremation will follow the prayers and a memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. also in the Chapel with Rev. Deborah Vitt officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations in Keith's memory may be given to the Kidney Foundation. The family would to send a special thanks to the Health Sciences Centre, St. Boniface Hospital and Selkirk General Hospital and loving thankfulness to the Dialysis Department at the Selkirk General Hospital for taking care of Keith.
