Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCLAIRE NOGUE (GAGNE) (née Raymond) 1909 - 2009 On Monday, October 12, 2009 at Foyer Valade, surrounded by her family, our precious Mom left this world peacefully to be with the Lord and her loved ones. She was predeceased by her first husband, Albert Gagné and her second husband, Jean-Baptiste Nogue; two sons, Marcel and Claude; daughter-in-law Anita Gagné; son-in-law Gerry Tremblay; stepdaughter Pauline Aussant; two grandsons, Gérard Gagné and Marc Sabourin; and granddaughter-in-law, Ginette Devigne. She leaves to mourn her passing: Louise (Jerry Devigne), Raymonde (Louis Marius), Denise (Roger Sabourin), John Gagné (Liz), Thérèse Tremblay, and Suzanne (Ron Nelson). She will also be missed by her stepchildren, the Nogue Family: Louis (Juliette), André (Thérèse), Ernest Aussant, Alain (Marie-Claude), Marc René (Yvette) and Lorraine (Dale Watson). Mom, your grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren will always hold your memory close to their heart. You were an inspiration to all of us, and the world is a better place because of you. When life threw you lemons, you made lemonade, and you were often heard saying Smile and the world smiles with you . Your strong devotion to the Sacred Heart carried you through the good times and the difficult times. You touched the lives of many, and traveling this world with you was an honour. Thank you for the many years you shared with us! The family wishes to thank the staff of Foyer Valade for their professional care, kindness and love. Mom appreciated everything you did and she loved you all. A Celebration of Life will take place at St. Bernadette Parish, 820 Cottonwood Drive, on Saturday, October 17, at 11:00 a.m. with a Mass officiated by Father Fred Olds. A private interment will take place at a later date at the St. Boniface Cemetery, where Dad was laid to rest in 1967. Desjardins Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements, 357, rue Desmeurons, 233-4949. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Foyer Valade, 450 River Road, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R2M 5M4.
