Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryILENE (EILEEN) SLAVUTA May 9, 1947 - October 11, 2009 On October 11 after a lengthy battle with cancer, it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Eileen at the Seven Oaks Hospital, at age 62. She leaves to mourn her passing and to celebrate her life: her loving sons Michael (Colleen) and Steven, three grandchildren Cody, Hailey and Reese; her loving parents Donald and Helen Slavuta; brothers Johnny (Lynda), Donny (Helen), Jerry (Mindy); sisters: Shirley, Diane and Barbara; nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles and her special friends. My life on earth is truly past, I've loved you all to the very last, Weep not for me but courage take and love one another for my sake. Love Eileen. Funeral service will be held on Monday, October 19 at 2:00 p.m. Fisher Funeral Home, Fisher Branch, MB, Rev. H. Chuckry officiating. Funeral Services directed by: Fisher Funeral Home 204-372-6271

We spoke for many hours as to her concerns and of her relationship with her roommate, her best friend. She cleaned, cooked and worried about him, he was her best friend, companion and his eyes to the world.
