MARY MCDOUGALL (nee SLOVINSKY) October 11, 2009 was a very sad day for the family and friends of Mary McDougall. My mother, your dear friend and sister passed away peacefully. She was 89. Mary was predeceased by Frank, her loving husband of 31 years in 1981. She leaves to celebrate her life her son Garry (Valerie); sister Ann; granddaughters Andreah and Morghan; great-granddaughter Ryleigh; Marcia and Eddie Jowett and family, Alma and Suzanne Richard and many more relatives and friends. My mother loved to sew and some of her happiest moments were seeing her many brides beaming faces when they saw the dresses she made for them. I know that if they sew in heaven she will be in her glory. Roses and angels will be with you always. We will be bidding a fond farewell on Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at 12:30 p.m. with viewing one hour prior to service at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Please make donations in Mary's name to the CNIB, 1080 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3G 3M3.
