FREDA MAY SEALES Freda Seales, a resident of Lions Manor passed away quietly on October 12, 2009 at the age of 99. Freda will be missed by her nieces, Erla (Fred) Frame, Janice (Lloyd) Samec and their families and extended families. She will also be missed by Kirk (Sonia) Kuppers who she became closer to in later years. Freda was predeceased by her parents, Catherine and John Charles; sisters, Annie Maude, Alice and Wynne; brother-in-law Earl McDougall; nephew Ronald and great-nephew Mark Frame. Freda was born and raised with her sisters Alice and Wynne. She left Isabella in 1939 and worked in Winnipeg for a short time. Freda then moved to Portage la Prairie where she worked until 1950. Freda returned to Winnipeg and worked for twenty-five years with Love's Leathercraft until she retired in 1975. Freda spent much of her early retirement travelling with her sister Wynne to Alaska, Hawaii and coast-to-coast in Canada. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 20 in Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Interment will follow at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens.
