LINA VANDALE May 6, 1934 October 14, 2009 Peacefully, on Wednesday, October 14, 2009, Lina Vandale passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 75 years. Lina was predeceased by her parents, Edmond and Louise Vandale; her brothers, Aimé, Roger, Albert, and Henri , and by her sister-in-law, Thérèse Vandale. She is survived by her sister, Irma Mazurkiewich (Dave) and by her brother, Gérald Vandale (Jeannine); sisters-in-law, Mercedes Vandale and Linda Vandale, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Lina was a retired employee of the St. Boniface Hospital as an EKG technician. On Lina's behalf, the family extends a grateful thank you to Dr. Quy Doan for his expertise and caring, as well as to the St. Boniface Hospital staff, Merci. Funeral mass will be celebrated by Father Isaie Blanchette at the St. Boniface Cathedral in St. Boniface on Tuesday, October 20 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will take place in the Ste. Anne Parish Cemetery in Ste. Anne, Manitoba later that afternoon. Flowers are gratefully declined. Those wishing to do so may make a donation in Lina's memory to the St. Boniface Hospital Research Foundation, 409 Taché Avenue, St. Boniface, MB, R2H 2A6.
