Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRYAN SHAWN NEUFELD May 17, 1991 - October 11, 2009 It is with great sadness the family regrets to announce the sudden passing of Ryan Neufeld on October 11, 2009 at 18 years of age. Ryan was predeceased by his father Bob Neufeld, December 8, 1995, and only weeks earlier by his Aunt Debbie Barnes. Left to cherish Ryan's memory are his mother Bonnie (Grant) and brother Robbie; Aunt Pearl and Aunt Eileen, Omi Anne and Opa Irvin Neufeld. Aunty Patty (Ron), Uncle Jim (Orysia); cousins, Sherri (Cory) Tyler, Emily, Brayden, Cory, Adam, Paige, Joe, Justin, Mandy, Megan, Jordan and Summer. Also Ryan's girlfriend Cherissa. As a young boy Ryan was happy, curious and inquisitive as children are and he loved spending time with his mom and dad. Ryan spent countless hours with his dad helping him work on and restore his car and it was with great anticipation that the 1964 Chevy Malibu would be ready to go for a family cruise. As Ryan got older he enjoyed going for coffee and playing cards with his mom. Ryan loved to play Texas Hold-Em. Family card nights were his favourite and he loved to compete for the bragging-rights of being the best card player in the family. Sunday dinners and holidays at Aunt Pearl's were always something to look forward to. There are many stories in the family archive of the fun and adventures Ryan and his cousins had at Aunt Pearl's house. We will always hold these special memories in our hearts. Ryan had a very special relationship with his Aunt Eileen, who Ry-Cakes knew he could always count on for anything he needed. Ryan also loved to listen to music and Rap was his passion. He would escape into this world and expressed himself through it, especially with his song-writing. Ryan loved to work out and was very proud of the discipline he had put into taking care of himself. Ryan was also very proud of his new car and his apartment. The work Ryan had put into turning his life around was evident. Ryan was a very kind and gentle spirit, he loved children, animals and most of all he loved his family and friends. His shy smile and practical jokes will forever be missed by all those who loved him. Rest peacefully Ryan, forever mom's little Shmoo-Bear.
