LEONARD KENNETH WELSH It is with deep sadness the family announces the passing of our father, grandfather and great-grandfather Leonard Kenneth Welsh on Saturday, October 3, 2009. Len resided in Winnipeg most of his life moving to Lorette in 1997 to live with his son, daughter-in-law and family. Len leaves to cherish his memory his children Dorothy (Erik), Ken (girlfriend Petra), Len Jr. (Carol), Dan (Linda). He will also be dearly missed by his grandchildren Jennifer, Jessica, Carly, Kolton, Skyler, Krystal, Kevin, Kyle, Kyndra, nine great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Len was predeceased by his father Frank, his mother Elizabeth, his sisters Olive, Dorothy and Gladys, and his brothers Oliver and Frank. Len was employed by The Bank of Montreal for 36 and one-half years retiring in July 1984. Len served in the army in the Second World War and was a member of #2 Legion Brooklands and Weston Branch. Thanks to Dr. Hughes for his many years of care as well as South Eastman Homecare, Dr. Fredette and staff of St. Anne's Hospital. At Len's request no service was to be held. Cremation has taken place and a private interment was held at Brookside Cemetery with immediate family only present. Dad we will not say Good Bye this is not the end. So until we meet again we will just say, So long for now XO XO XO XO XO XO XO XO XO XO XO XO
