VERA MAY BOURNE (KOPER)

VERA MAY BOURNE (nee KOPER) February 9, 1927 - October 9, 2009 Very peacefully, Vee, age 82, passed away at Oakview Place. She was predeceased by her son George in 1989. Those she leaves to cherish her memory are her husband, Cliff; stepsons David (Allison) and Steven; stepdaughters Nancy (Gary) and Linda; granddaughters Morgan, Jessica and Shannon; grandson Jason and great-granddaughter Thea. Vee was raised in Winnipeg and was a member of the Salvation Army, East Kildonan Corps for a number of years. Before colour film was invented, she coloured photos at a number of photographers' businesses. She enjoyed traveling; she and Cliff traveled many kilometres in their motor home and took many pictures. She made many friends wherever they traveled. They especially enjoyed their visits with the Pincher Creek Hutterite Colony. The family wishes to thank all the staff at Oakview Personal Care Home and in particular, the nurses and health care aides on the second floor (Sandy Grove) for their excellent care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the charity of your choice.
