TERRANCE SMITH On Thursday, October 15, 2009 at the Victoria General Hospital, Terrance Smith, formerly of Selkirk, Manitoba, passed away with his family at his side at the age of 76 years. Terrance resided at the Poseidon Care Centre in Winnipeg. Terry leaves to cherish his memory his sisters, Margaret Smith of Burnaby, BC, Elsie (Walter) Burgel of Surrey, BC; brother Ewart (Mannie) Smith of Burnaby, BC; niece Lynn Smith-Crossett of Abbotsford, BC; nephew Bruce Smith of Robert's Creek, BC, as well as numerous others relatives and extended family. He was predeceased by his dad Stanley Smith; auntie Bella and brother William (Beaver). Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 22, 2009 at the Gilbart Funeral Chapel in Selkirk with interment to follow in the St. Peter's Anglican Churchyard cemetery. Heartfelt thanks to the staff at Poseidon Park Lodge and the Victoria Hospital for the care shown to Terry. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
