LOIS MARGARET MCVAGH (nee ROBERTSON) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Mom, Lois Margaret McVagh (née Robertson), October 13, 2009. She is predeceased by her husband Robert (Bob) and survived by her daughter Elizabeth (Paddy), her son John and their spouses, Craig and Carol. She is greatly missed by her grandchildren, Zachary, Breanna, Katelynn, Ian and Georgia. A world traveller, she preferred her summers spent with family at Trout Lake. Her generosity manifested itself not only in donations to a wide variety of causes but also in the time she spent with her grandchildren. Until her retirement Lois was a nurse in home care with the VON and at the Misericordia. She carried with her wonderful memories of her Winnipeg General Hospital classmates (1949) and her colleagues from Misericordia, the Cornish Hens. Our heartfelt gratitude is extended to the caring staff of Kildonan Personal Care Centre. Please send donations in lieu of flowers, to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba. Lois will be interred at Brookside Cemetery, with her family present.
