ETHEL IRENE REID (nee LITTLE) In loving memory of our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great- great-grandmother who left us on October 16, 2009 at the age of 95 years. Mom was predeceased by Dad, Robert Reid, on September 23, 1978, by her brother, Harold and by her sister-in-law, Edith. She is survived by her children, Bob (Heather) Reid, Irene (Jim) Trann, Elain (Jim) Currie and Harold (friend Liza) Reid; by her grandchildren, Angela Reid, Parke (Sandi) Trann, Ryan (Stephanie) Currie and Preston (Jenna) Trann; by her great-grandchildren, Ashley (Brodie) Oslund, Robert Oslund, Jocelyn and Julia Currie; by her new great-great-grandson Krystan and by Mom's special friends, Prince and TJ. Mom was born on September 2, 1914 to Henry and Eliza Ann Little. She grew up on Ross Avenue and resided on Washington Avenue at the time of her passing. She was a life member of the Salvation Army. The recording of our family history was important to her as well as her extensive collection of S/A history. We would like to thank Dr. Nyhof, Dr. Paul Sawchuk and nursing staff on NE3 at Concordia Hospital for all their care and support. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, October 21 at 10:00 a.m. at Neil Bardal Inc., 3030 Notre Dame Ave. (across from Brookside Cemetery). Viewing will take place one half hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Brookside Cemetery.
