RUTH MANN Peacefully, with her family by her side, Ruth Marion Mann (Stewart) passed away on October 17, 2009. Ruth was predeceased by her husband Roy Mann and her parents John and Marion Stewart. She is survived by her children: son Jeff (Lorna) and their children Ethan and Abigail; her daughter Michelle and her children Josh, Luxmey, Cassie and Daisy and her sister Evelyn (Don) Currie and step-mother Olive Stewart. Ruth was born on June 17, 1938 in Deloraine where she completed her schooling. Following the T.T.C. program at Brandon College, she taught at Dand and Stonewall. Ruth left teaching when she married Roy Mann on August 6, 1962. Following Roy's death, Ruth lived with her daughter, Michelle. Graveside service will be held in Deloraine on Thursday, October 22, 2009 at Deloraine Cemetery on Hwy. #3 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Manitoba Lung Association, 629 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3A 1P6.
