BERTHA DESROCHERS (nee FONTAINE) February 26, 1921 - October 18, 2009 It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Bertha Desrochers on Sunday, October 18, 2009 at Tache Centre at the age of 88 years. Bertha was predeceased by her husband Bertrand in December 2008. Bertha leaves to mourn her children: Raymond (Pauline), Robert (Violet), Claire (Tony) Fraser; her grandchildren: Michael (Jacqueline), Richard (Riqui), Monique, Derrick, Colin (Shannon), Stephen, Eric (Roberta) and Amanda; her great-grandchildren: Austin, Connor, Tyler, Calum, Izabella, Jaymie and Rebecca. Her loss will also be felt by her sisters Lucie and Emma; sister-in-law Helen Fontaine; brother Victor and brother-in-law Leon Lemoine as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 21 at 2:00 p.m. in the Holy Family Church, 778 Archibald St. A private family interment will be held at a later date in the St. Boniface Cemetery.
