• I had forgotten to mention my name at birth. My birth certificate states that I was named Karen Catherine Hudson & I was born on June 3, 1966 in Vancouver, B.C. I have been corrected by my daughter that we were in touch with Thomas (my father) from about half way through 1994 - about February of 1996, then he contacted me & my two children from about fall of 1998 - about spring of the following year. The time between the communication times I was completely unable to contact him or his wife even though I would call their home 2 - 3 times per week & always left a message for 3 or 4 months straight, but I was never contacted back. I actually have 3 children, but my first child was raised by another family. He has since returned to my & my childrens' lives. So Caitlyn has three cousins that she has never met. My eldest is Noah (31 yrs. old) born mid February, 1984, then comes my daughter, Alana-Joy Christine, but she prefers to be called Chris (29 1/2yrs old) born @ the beginning of November, 1986, & William (25 yrs old) born halfway through June, 1990. It would really be nice for the grandkids to get in touch with each other to be able to get to know each other. • Thomas & my mother split up when I was only 18 months old & then my mom's elder brother took Mom & me back to Vancouver to their parents' home. About 2005-6 Thomas relocated me & we talked on the phone very frequently for about 6 - 8 months, then all communications between us stopped altogether, in spite of frequent attempts on my part to call him. In the 6 - 8 months that we were in communication he got to know my 2 children by telephone & he sent us presents a few times during that time period. About 2 years later he contacted me again as he had had a scare from a mild heart attack & he wanted to get closer to us again. Unfortunately comunications between us again broke off a few months later. I once again made several attempts to contact him or his wife, but to no avail. Now I know why.
