FREDA CLOW June 11, 1930 - October 14, 2009 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Freda Lilian Hazel Clow, who left us after courageously battling cancer. Freda was predeceased by her husband Dennis; her parents Clem and Viola Tanner; and her brother James. Freda will be lovingly remembered by her nine children, Glenn (Cathie) of Hilbre, MB, Trudy (Clayton) of Winnipeg, MB, Stewart (Virginia) of Winlaw, BC, Nadine (Barry) of Blue Ridge, AB, Darryl (Susan) of Parry Sound, ON, Roger (Kathy) of Hilbre, MB, Murray (Ethel) of Sparwood, BC, Jeff (Amy) of Edmonton, AB and Craig (Eldean) of Winnipeg, MB; and by her sister Alta Syzmesko. Also left to mourn are nine grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Freda was born and raised in Amaranth, MB. She taught school in Olds, AB where she met and married Dennis Macintosh Clow in April of 1949. They later farmed in Fisher Branch and Erickson areas and retired to Neepawa, MB. She had recently moved to Hilbre to be closer to family. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 24, 2009 with Father Ronald J. McCullough officiating. Interment to follow in the Hilbre Cemetery. Refreshments will follow at the Grahamdale Hall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lakeshore Hospital Guild, c/o Julie Bergner, P.O.
