JOHN DONALD (JACK) HUGHESMAN Born October 7, 1935 at Winnipeg, MB Died October 9, 2009 at Victoria, BC Jack passed away quietly Friday at Broadmead Lodge, Victoria. He will be missed by his family and friends, especially his wife Marlene and dog Robbie. Jack is also survived by daughter Corinne, grandson PJ and son John (Elaine). Jack is predeceased by brother Doug and survived by brother David (Jan), Tom (Chris), sister Diana (Bobby) and sisters-in-law, Rosemary and Yvonne as well as many nieces and nephews across the country. Jack strongly supported the New Democrats (NDP) and faithfully served the members of C.U.P.E. There will be a service in the Maple Room at Broadmead Lodge and inurnment at First Memorial, 1155 Fort St., Victoria. In lieu of flowers a donation to the Parkinson Society of BC, Ste. 600, 890 W. Pender St., Vancouver, BC V6C 1J9 would be appreciated.
