Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGRACE LILIAN WEBB November 11, 1911 - October 15, 2009 Peacefully, just short of her 98th birthday, Grace passed away in her residence at the Pembina Place Personal Care Home. She was predeceased by her husband Jim in 2006. Grace is survived by her sons, Bud, Bill (Molly), Graham (Jill), Barry (Michelle) and Bob (Karen). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Grace was first and foremost a mother and homemaker dedicated to the family and their needs. She was tireless in her efforts to put everybody first before herself. Sunday dinners, as her sons began their families, were moments long remembered for good food and good company. She loved to catch fish but was dearly afraid of boats. Rummoli nights with the neighbours were pleasures to her as well as showing the children how to play (win) Horsecollar at the Fort Garry Legion. Grace and Jim immediately set up in Texas after Jim's retirement from the railway where they enjoyed fresh oranges and warm weather during the long winter months. Mother's health began to fail her in the mid 1990s and she remained in Winnipeg, moving into her residence in 2001, where family and friends visited her weekly. We wish to thank the 3rd floor staff of the Pembina Place for their love and consideration in the care of our mother. Grace has joined her husband and will be greatly missed by family and friends. A private family dinner will be held to celebrate Grace's life.
