SHARON JOAN VERRAN (nee FLETCHER) It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Sharon Joan Verran on October 19, 2009 at the Riverview Health Centre peacefully with her family by her side, after a short and courageous battle with cancer at the age of 67. Remaining to forever cherish Sharon's memory are her husband of 48 years, Gilbert; her three daughters, Rhonda, Tara (George) Lana (Kelly); grandchildren, Jessica and Ryan; sister Louise (Lyle); brother Murray (Sheena) and many nieces and nephews. Sharon was predeceased by her father Harry, her mother Alice and her brother Gerry. Sharon was a kind, caring and loving person who cherished her family and many friends. She will always hold dear the time spent with her grandchildren and she was proud of the young adults that they have become. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff of the Grace Hospital and Riverview Health Centre. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, PO Box 2248, Winnipeg, MB, R3C 4A6. Mom's life will be celebrated on Friday, October 23, 2009 at the Charleswood United Church, 4820 Roblin Blvd. Service will commence at 10:30 a.m. to be officiated by Rev. Joanne Kury.
