CHANEL DUNCAN 1994 - 2009 It's with great sadness that we announce the passing of Chanel Duncan of Winnipeg, Manitoba on October 17, 2009. Chanel leaves cherished memories for parents Ian and Opal, brother Ian Jr, sisters Breanna and Jillian, also granddad Lloyd Fearon, grandma Daphne Campbell, along with numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and Friends. Chanel attended Linden Meadow and Linden Christian School. She was quite active with community basketball, tennis and soccer. Her hobbies were bike riding, rollerblading, reading, and writing, skating, and snowboarding, she also loved playing the piano. We will miss Chanel greatly; life will never be the same without our baby, Chanel. A service to celebrate Chanel's life will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. at Grant Memorial Baptist Church, with viewing on Friday, October 23. 7:00 - 8:30 p.m at Grant Memorial Baptist Church, 877 Wilkes Ave. Officiating ministers are Reverend Bruce Martin, Reverend/ Doctor Milton Chambers and Bishop Everton McLennon. The family wishes to thank Cancer Care Manitoba with special thanks to Dr. Rochelle Yanofsky and Nurse Cathy Bourne. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Linden Christian School Bursary fund to the Chanel Achievement Award at 877 Wilkes Ave., Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3P 1B8.
