I wish you could have stayed with me, as you were the spark in my life, and everything my heart desired. You didn't deserve what you went through, and if love could have saved you, you never would have died. You suffered much in silence; you fought so hard to stay. You faced your task with courage, and your spirit did not waive. God saw you getting tired when a cure was not to be, so He wrapped His arms around you, and whispered Come to me. Two hearts forever one, until we meet again. Margaret

Dear Margaret: Here it is 2015, and I just found Doug's obit. I'm so sorry - I didn't know he had died. He was a grade below me through Elementary School at Fort Rouge, and High School at Churchill.I saw him a couple of times over the years since then, just enough to say "hello - how are you - nice to see you". I still live in Osborne Village so he comes to mind quite often. I liked him and had noted the not-always-happy events in his life. I wish you well.
