ANNE BLUHM It is with great sadness and sorrow we announce the sudden passing of our dear mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Anne Bluhm; January 31, 1923 - October 23, 2009. Her greatest loss was losing her beloved husband Jack of 59 years and son-in-law Ed Olfert both in the year 2000. She leaves to mourn her two daughters, Joyce Olfert and Sharon Rohde; her sons Larry (Shirley) and Terry (Michelle); as well as her five grandchildren, Cheryl (Rob), Dwain (Melenie), Shelley (Stefan), Jeff (Danielle), Lisa (Dave); and nine great-grandchildren. Anne will always be remembered for her unselfish, loving nature. She was the epitome of love, breathing beauty into the ordinary. She saw past the surface and viewed life with her heart. Through hardship, she gathered strength, which she shared with her family. She taught us to be courageous, to learn from the past; to forgive and to forget that which is better left in the past. She gave us the gift of family and taught us the most valuable of life's lessons - love fully and unselfishly. Her love was the glue that bound our family. Just as she lived with her heart, we will carry her in our hearts forever. Funeral service will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg on Tuesday, October 27 at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, and in appreciation of Anne's love for children, donations can be made to the Children's Wish Foundation, 350 St. Mary Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3C 3J2 Chapel Lawn 885-9715
