EMILY KLYM On October 24, 2009, Emily Klym died gently and painlessly after a pleasant day in the company of her close family. Emily was a loving wife to Mike; she was a cook, a seamstress, a gardener, a caregiver, a volunteer, a member of the Women's League, the church choir, and the Apostles' Prayer group. Emily delighted in family gatherings where she entertained with her delicious food and irrepressible spirit. Born in 1927 in Ethelbert, she recognized the long-term value of education, and ensured that her children had opportunities that she missed during the Depression. Trish, Luke and Carol shared their lives with Emily when she was a single mom, and are her legacy to life and the future. Her marriage to Mike in 1975 began a new chapter of life - the happy years together when they celebrated their faith, travelled abroad and visited their grandchildren Abe, Yascha and Phoebe in Victoria. Emily was predeceased by her parents Nellie and John Bilinsky, and brothers Morris and Orest. In addition to her husband and three children, Emily leaves her brother Nestor, sister-in-law Bernice, and several nieces and nephews. Words cannot describe how much we will miss Emily. She has left an indelible imprint on our hearts. To those who knew our joyous Emily, who loved and were loved by her, we extend an invitation to the service at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, 737 Bannerman Ave. at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 27 with Father Isidore Dziadyk officiating. Rosary will be prayed at 1:30 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow the services at All Saints Cemetery. KORBAN FUNERAL CHAPEL 956-2193
