ANNIE BERGEN With family by her side, Annie Bergen peacefully passed away on October 24, 2009. Annie had just celebrated her 87th birthday! She will be forever missed by daughters Laura (Dudley) Gowen, Shirley (Donald) Smith, sons Roy and Lyndon Bergen; grandchildren, Tim (Andrea) Gowen, Lisa (Ryan) Sigurdson, Karla (John Wasylik) Smith; great-grandchildren, Trinity, Paige, Lily and Kara. Annie also leaves to mourn her brother Elmer (Muriel), sister Edna Neufeld and many nieces and nephews and in-laws. She was predeceased by husband Edwin, brothers Albert, Pete, Johnny, Walter and Otto Neufeld. Annie had many unique characteristics and anyone who knew her will have many memories to hold in their hearts. She loved to be ready for all occasions and the gifts you received were made with love with her own hands. Annie always supported the Multiple Sclerosis Society as the disease has affected many in her family. In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to Karla's Crew. Cheques payable to MS society and mailed to 419 Queen Avenue, Selkirk, MB R1A 1G2. Private graveside service will be held and a celebration of life will be held for family and friends at the Selkirk Inn and Conference Centre, Salon A at 11:30 a.m. on October 29, 2009.
