FLORENCE MARY YOUNG (nee DOBSON) 1919 2009 It is with great sadness we announce that after a short but valiant struggle with cancer, our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Mary Young, with her loving family by her side, passed away at Boundary Trails Health Centre on Friday, October 23, 2009. She leaves to mourn her passing, her loving husband, Stuart Young; two daughters, Pat and Bill Hamilton, Diane and Glen Lilke; one son, Doug and Joyce Young as well as seven grandchildren, (Ken, Krista, Melanie, Geoffrey, Rod, Richard, Sherolyn); 13 great-grandchildren and her sister-in-law Marge Dobson. She was predeceased by her parents, Amos and Hannah (nee Barker) Dobson, two sisters; five brothers and her grandson, Scott Young. Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Andrew's United Church in Manitou. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mary's memory to the Pembina-Manitou Area Foundation, Box 535, Manitou, MB R0G 1G0.
