NOELLA FLORENCE DAVIE (neé GARIEPY) January 17, 1932 October 23, 2009 It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Noëlla Davie, on October 23, 2009 at the Concordia Hospital, with all her family by her side at the age of 77. Mom leaves to cherish her memory her two loving daughters Suzanne Billington, Shirley MacBeth (Bob); four grandchildren, Tracy (Keith), Sheila (René), Sean (Sheri), Ashley (Rocky), seven great-grandchildren, sister Olive Fortier (Denis), brothers Fern Gariépy (Evelyn), Denis Gariépy (Marlene), Rev. Gilbert Gariépy and many nieces and nephews. Mom was predeceased by her beloved husband Harry and son Braden both in 2008, her parents Albert and Yvonne, sisters Terry McCuaig and Leola Marion, brother Leo Gariépy, her beloved son-in-law Brian and a great-grandson Brady in infancy. Mom was always giving of herself to anyone in need, but her love for her family was the most important part of her life: she was happiest when our family gathered together on special occasions when she made one of her special and delicious desserts. She enjoyed being an active member of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Royal Canadian Legion Transcona Branch #7 since 1976, and having also been on the Colour party for many years. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to all the staff at Concordia Hospital, your care and compassion are greatly appreciated. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of one's choice. Cremation has taken place, and a Funeral Liturgy will be held on Friday, October 30, 2009 at 1:00 p.m., at the Transcona Funeral Chapel, 1800 Day St., with her brother Rev. Gilbert Gariépy officiating. Rest in peace Mother!!! You will be sadly missed! Love today, tomorrow and always. God has taken you to His Kingdom to Be with all the rest of our family, Until we meet again.
