MARJORIE ISABEL MCINTOSH June 30, 1928 - October 27, 2009 Peacefully after a prolonged struggle with Alzheimer's disease at Tuxedo Villa Extendicare, Marjorie passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at the age of 81. Marjorie will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 61 years Gordon; children, Sandra of Calgary; Ian of Regina and Barbara (Alan) Mutch of Winnipeg; grandchildren, Cameron, Aynsley, Mitchell, Jillian, Jonathan and Emily. Marjorie was predeceased by her parents Ivan and Myrtle West; sister Jean and brother in-law Earl McFee. Marjorie was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. A family person, excelling in sewing, knitting, needlework, and cooking. Her Sunday family roast beef dinners became known as Mac Meals . Trained as a Comptometer Operator, employed by Hudson Bay House and Ackland Inc., then volunteering with Meals on Wheels, 150 Smith Street and Lions Place. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. on Monday, November 2, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. Thanks to all the personnel at Fort Garry Care Centre and Tuxedo Villa for the loving care given to Marjorie over the past seven years.
