IVOR TRAVERSE January 21, 1953 - October 26, 2009 It is with great sadness that our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, nephew and everybody's favourite uncle has gone back home to the Lord. Ivor left us suddenly and peacefully. He will be greatly missed by all his beloved family. He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife, Lorna; his daughters, Barbara (Jeremy) and Doreen (Wilfred Jr.); his sons, Sonny Traverse (Amber) and Robert Traverse (Pam); stepdaughters, Heather Sumner and Tanya Sumner; stepsons, Lesley Sumner and Wesley Sumner; his granddaughter Jenna, whom he raised as his own daughter; also grandchildren, Anthony, Maina, Timothy (his right hand man), Leona, Levi, Charity, Kayla and Dakota (little poo-donth). Wake services will be held on Wednesday, October 28, 2009 and on Thursday, October 29, 2009 at 7:30 p.m. both evenings. The funeral service will be held on Friday, October 30, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. Services will be held at the Day of Pentecost Church, Little Saskatchewan, Manitoba, with Pastor Wesley Sinclair and Jim Anderson officiating.
