EMMA CHODY (nee HOPP) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother and grandmother, Emma Chody, on October 28, 2009 at the age of 90. Emma was predeceased by her husband, Marcel (1983), her mother and father, and her sisters and brothers. She will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Richard (Dianne) and Darryl (Kathy), her grandchildren, Lisa (Mark), Curtis (Jill), Jason (Heidi), and Kevin (Marjorie), and her great-grandchildren Corban, Garnet, Porter, Lucas, and Kyla. She will also be missed by her friends at East Park Lodge. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the staff of Concordia Hospital for their care and compassion. In honor of Emma's last wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Emma's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB, R3L 0K6. So when tomorrow starts without me, don't think we're far apart...for every time you think of me, I'm right here in your heart.
