EDNA JOLICOEUR Peacefully, after a courageous battle with cancer, it is with deep regret that we announce the death of Edna Jolicoeur (nee Sweers). With family by her side, Edna passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2009 at the Kildonan Personal Care Centre at the age of 65 years. Remaining to forever cherish Edna's memory is her beloved husband of 48 years, Ernest (Ernie); her two sons, Stan and John (Randy); her two daughters, Shirley and Melanie (Maurice); three grandchildren, Steven (Jackie), Raymond and Courtney; one great-grandson Sage; two brothers and two sisters. She was predeceased by her mom and dad, John and Edna Sweers, her in-laws, Mr. and Mrs. D. S. Jolicoeur; numerous brother and sisters-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews. In respecting Edna's wishes, no formal funeral service will be held. A special thank you to all the staff at the Kildonan Personal Care Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Edna's memory to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
