ANNIE (ANN) PUSHKEDRA KIZINKEWICH POPOWICH June 30, 1924 October 28, 2009 After a brief battle with cancer, it is with loving memories and sad hearts we announce the passing of Ann, loving wife of 50 years to Mike Popowich. Besides her husband, she is survived by her son Lorne (Audrey); grandchildren, Allison (Rob), Todd (Evelyn), Kimberly (Keith) and Michael, as well as her five great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family as well as her long time friend Hermie. Ann was predeceased by her parents as well as her four sisters Lena, Mary, Pearl, and Olie. As a member of the Balmoral congregation of Jehovah's Witness, Ann's faith and confidence was in the Resurrection Hope, John 5:28 and 29 and Revelations 21: 1-5. The family wishes to thank many people who have helped us through this trying time. As well, thanks to Drs. Garcia and Volpe and the staff of Riverview Care Centre, 3rd Floor East Wing for their tireless care of Ann and family. A memorial service will be held at the Balmoral Kingdom Hall, 1060 Wolver Avenue, West Hall on Saturday, November 7, 2009 at 2:30 p.m. Flowers gratefully declined.
