Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMANLEY GOLDBERG October 29, 1935 - October 19, 2009 Manley lived the last months of his life with courage and stoicism, taking great pleasure from each precious moment with his family and friends. He is survived by Phyllis, his wife and life partner of over 50 years, his children, Bobby and Beth Goldberg, David and Lauri Goldberg and Michael Goldberg and Talya Wise, and grandchildren, Zachary, Jessica, Stefanie, Robert, Aidan, Benjamin and Ariel. He was predeceased by his son Howie. Manley was born in and was proud to call Winnipeg home for all of his life. While raising his family with Phyllis, he carried on a busy law practice, and was deeply involved in both the Jewish and general communities. Following Manley's retirement, he and Phyllis travelled extensively and shared wonderful adventures with each other and the many people they met along the way. Manley's influence, strength of character, and unique personality will be sorely missed by his family and friends. Heartfelt thanks to Dr. Piot Czaykowski, Dr. Lorne Brandes, Denise Klassen and everyone at CancerCare Manitoba, and to the Palliative care teams for their outstanding and personal care and attention. Their assistance has been invaluable, and our appreciation immeasurable. Donations may be made to the Manley and Howie Goldberg Memorial Fund at the Jewish Foundation of Manitoba, which will be administering and distributing the funds to CancerCare Manitoba.
