Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEMILY JACKSON On October 29, 2009 at Concordia Place, Emily Jackson passed away at the age of 80 years. Emily Jackson (Yascheshyn) was born in Melrose, Manitoba on December 8, 1928. She was predeceased by her husband Jim on October 18, 2001, her mother Regina in 1953, her father John in 1961, sister Jean and brothers Frank, Casey and Johnny. She is survived by her sister Kay Kazina in Beausejour, Helen Dasko in Peterborough, Ontario, and Violet Kurde from Scarborough, Ontario, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Emily worked for Eaton's and concluded her career working at Swifts for over 20 years. Emily was a member of the South Transcona Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. She had a strong faith that the Bible's promise of paradise, earth and resurrection of the dead will soon be realized. Revelation 21:4 And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain anymore. The former things have passed away. A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 2, 2009 at 11:00 a.m., at the Transcona Funeral Chapel, 1800 Day St., with Mr. Harold Clouston officiating.
