INGEMAR JOHANSSON 1929 - 2009 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ingemar Johansson on October 27, 2009 at the age of 80. Ingemar was predeceased by his wife Gerd, his daughter Gail and granddaughter Erika. Left to cherish his memory are his sisters, Valborg and Gunnborg; his brother Valdemar in Sweden; his sons, Gert (Linda) Johansson and Ken (Darlene) Johansson; daughter Inger (Norm) Haig; grandchildren, Anders (Suzanne), Evan, Karin (Graham), Angel (Jamie), Sherry (Anders), Tara (David), Riley (Michelle), Linnea (Dylan) and great-granddaughter Keira, and many nieces and nephews in Sweden. In 1948 Ingemar married Gerd Abrahamsson and enjoyed 53 years of marriage. His career was as an electrician working with various electrical contractors. His hobbies consisted of enjoying the outdoors , with activities such as fishing, hunting and berry picking. A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 2, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home with Marianne Propp officiating. The family would like to express a special thank you to Jan and Betty from Home Care and to the other residents of Foyer St. Amant and friends in Lorette for their kindness and care.
