EDILBERTO (BERT) MAYUGA February 24, 1951 October 28, 2009 It is with great sadness that the family of Edilberto (Bert) Mayuga announces his passing on Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at the age of 58. Bert passed away peacefully at Seven Oaks Hospital with his family by his side. Bert will be forever remembered by his wife of 31 years Teresita, their children Dennis (Valerie), Kathleen (Neil), Carait, Adrian, and Marvin. Bert will also forever be remembered by his three grandchildren, Brody, Mackenzie, Elisha, by his mother Emeteria (Philippines), and his brother Enrique(Maria) (Philippines). Bert will also be forever remembered by his numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends. Bert was predeceased by his father Justiniano. Bert was a great, loved and respected man. He touched the hearts of everyone he met. Bert was the first president of the Buklod Ng Pagkakaisa. Bert worked for Dominion Tanners for 27 years, MacDon, and Winpak. Lamay (Viewing) and Prayer Service will be held on Thursday, November 5, and Friday November 6, from 6:00 p.m. to 12 Midnight , at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street and Luxton, Winnipeg. The Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 7, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter's Church, 748 Keewatin St., Winnipeg, with Monsignor E. Samson presiding. Interment will follow at Thomson in the Park Memorial Gardens, 1291 McGillivary Blvd., Winnipeg. The Family would like to send special thanks to all our Relatives Friends, Buklod ng Pagkakasisa, Oncology and 5th floor Unit 7 staff at Seven Oaks and staff at Grace Hospital for their support and guidance at this time.
