SUZANNE BERARD (nee GOSSELIN) 1921 2009 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our Mother Suzanne on Friday, October 30, 2009 at Taché Centre at the age of 88 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her children: Jeannette (Maurice), Jacques (Angele), Anne, Lucien (Diane), Doris, Rita, and Veronique (Terry), as well as her 16 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She will also be missed by her daughter-in-law Doris, son-in-law Rene, as well as her brother Robert, and sisters Theresa and Lucienne. Suzanne was predeceased by her children Ernest, Marc, Marie-Paule, and Guy. The children would like to thank the wonderful staff of 2ABC Taché Centre for the excellent care given to our mom during her stay at their facility. Our Mother was a spiritually courageous woman. She dedicated her life to the raising and nurturing of her large and loving family. Throughout many difficult years, Suzanne never lost her faith and was often seen with a mischievous smile lighting up her face. Even in her later years, her family took a great comfort in that roguish smile, which was the center of much laughter and happy stories. She loved baking and cooking, spending hours in the kitchen creating delicious meals and desserts that are often remembered and enjoyed, all these years later. She was a very trusting and generous woman that devoted her life to the happiness of others. She would never hesitate to lend a hand to someone in want or need, refusing to accept anything in return. She will be greatly missed. Funeral service will be held Thursday, November 5 at St. Boniface Cathedral, 190 avenue de la Cathédrale at 10:30 a.m. with viewing at 10:00 a.m. Interment to take place at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens following reception.
