Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLELAND FRASER O'NEIL 1920 - 2009 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Leland Fraser O'Neil on October 31, 2009. Leland was born in Sandy Cove in Digby County, the son of the late Harry and Mildred (Merritt) O'Neil. Leland served in the armed forces from 1939 to 1946 as a Gunner in the Royal Artillery. He received the Gold Star from the Governor General and many other medals. Leland was predeceased by his wife Eunice. He is survived by four sons and six daughters and his companion Marilyn Ross. Leland enjoyed fishing and camping. He will be sadly missed by his friend Sandra Eichwalder. A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 7 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler at Henderson Hwy.
