OLGA SHEA August 19, 1924 - November 2, 2009 It is with the deepest sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our wife, mother, and grandmother, Olga on Monday, November 2, 2009 at the Deer Lodge Centre at the age of 85 years. Olga leaves to mourn her passing her husband of 66 years, Eric, her children Diane, Candice, Tim (Laura) and Rob (Rosanne). She is also survived by her six grandchildren Kelly, Paul, Jessie, Benjamin, Danielle and Krista, four great-grandchildren, three sisters and many nieces and nephews. Family was of utmost importance to Olga and she loved to be surrounded by her chicks as she referred to her children and grandchildren. She especially enjoyed cooking Sunday dinners, Christmas and birthday dinners with everyone there. During her lifetime she loved golfing, and travelling during the winter with friends and her husband down south to golf. Watching her son and grandsons play football and cheering them on to victory was one of her greatest enjoyments. Another pleasure in life was going to parties to dance the night away with her husband. A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 9, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Stephen's and St. Bede's Church, 99 Turner Avenue to celebrate her life. Interment will follow at a later date.
