ANTHONY ROBERT WIWISONKY On September 30, 2009, Anthony (Tony) Wiwisonky, aged 83, beloved husband of 34 years to Nola-Ray, passed away at the Dr. Evelyn Memorial Hospital in Stonewall, MB. Tony was born in Winnipeg in 1926. He worked much of his adult life in the north. He maintained radar and communication towers on the D.E.W. line in his earlier years and later on he saw much of Canada working with Dominion Bridge. In his spare time Tony loved to create with wood and to go fishing. We would like to send special thanks to the healthcare workers in the SICU at Health Sciences and at Stonewall Hospital for their kindness and care. A family gathering celebrating his life was held on October 3, 2009. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba. You will always be gentle on our minds.
