Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJEFFREY MICHAEL FURST 1955 - 2009 After losing a battle with cancer, Jeffrey Michael Furst, aged 54, passed away on October 30, 2009 to join his mother Audrey Sydell (February 6, 2008) and his grandparents (Furst and Bychuk). He will be remembered by his father Lorne, his sister Lori Spencer, her husband Darrell, nephews Jonathan and Colin and his brother Kevin. He will also be missed by his aunts, uncles and cousins, especially Derrick Bychuk. Jeffrey was born in St. Boniface Hospital on July 5, 1955 to Lorne and Audrey Furst, (Bychuk). His parents moved to North Kildonan in 1960. He attended Springfield Heights, Chief Peguis and River East schools. His first job was with CNR Transcona, with the Bridge and Building Department where he started his carpentry career and finished up at Bonafide Carpentry at his death. Jeff's favourite place to be was at our cottage near Lac du Bonnet on Rene Blvd; fishing on our dock on the Winnipeg River with a cool one and his friend Gerrold. He always caught the first and the most fish. He also enjoyed visiting his many Winnipeg River friends. Jeff will be missed by the many friends he made, especially Will, Adam, Wally, Paul, Wayne, Jason and co-workers at Bonafide, who spent time with him when he needed them most. As per Jeff's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private service celebrating his life will be held at a later date. Special thanks to Sandy Porco and Palliative Care Nurses and also to the staff at 3E Riverview.
