GLENDA FAYE JESSIE BOHN Live - Love - Laugh Wife, Mother, Grandma, Sister, Aunt, and beautiful Friend. Glenda Faye Jessie Bohn lost her life in a car accident October 9, 2009. She was born in New Westminster, BC to the late Robert and Edith Mathers on February 18, 1957. She grew up in the Surrey area with her siblings Barb, Bill, Ted, Sid, Russell, George and Sue. Upon moving to Manitoba she found the love of her life Merv and together they had three children, Gerry, Jessica and Jennifer. She was proud of her children and was thrilled when she became a Grandma to Lennon and Gracie. Glenda gave everything of herself to help family, friends, and complete strangers. When she wasn't having coffee with friends she could be found in her favourite spot on the deck, reading a book or laughing with her family. She was selfless, caring, understanding and possessed that rare gift of instantly making you feel like she had known you forever. Glenda had a sense of style, loved to travel and was the best chauffeur in town! She loved life and lived it to the fullest. With a smile and a cheery hello she lit up any room she entered. She was respected by all in the community, touched our hearts and left a mark that we will carry forever. Glenda made everyone feel special but truly she was the special one. A memorial service celebrating Glenda's life was held on Thursday, October 15, 2009 at the Neepawa Yellowhead Centre lead by Pastor Alvin Borchardt. Contributions in memory of Glenda can be made to Cancer Care Manitoba or Neepawa United Way.
