MARGARET (MAGGIE) FLEMING November 15, 1909 November 5, 2009 Passed away peacefully at Fred Douglas Lodge at the age of 99 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter June; grandson Bruce (Sherry); great-granddaughters, Carly and Taylor; brother Raymond; sister Mayme; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Maggie was predeceased by her husband Dick, her parents John and Sarah Reid, brothers Nigel, Allan, Earl, Jack and Simon, sisters Gladys, Isabel, Elsie and Ella. Maggie was born in the Clanwilliam district of Manitoba and grew up in the Erickson and Clear Lake areas before moving to Winnipeg in 1930. She also resided for several years in Victoria and Langley, B.C. before moving back to Winnipeg in 1981. The family would like to thank the staff of Fred Douglas Lodge for their excellent care during the past five years. We would also like to give a special thanks to Lori at Fred Douglas. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 10 at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons Street. Interment to follow at the St. Vital Cemetery.
