Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySHIRLEY ANN MURASH (nee HUNT) On Thursday, November 5, 2009, at the age of 70 years, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, Shirley Ann Murash (nee Hunt) of Anola, Manitoba, surrounded by her family, peacefully entered into eternal sleep. Remaining to forever cherish Shirley's memory are her husband Edward; daughter Bev (Peter) of Edmonton; sons, Terry (Chris), Darryl (Geri), of Winnipeg; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; brothers, Gary (Judy), Don (Freida), Rick (Sherry), of Winnipeg and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Fred and Mary Hunt. Born and raised in the Elmwood area of Winnipeg, Shirley married her sweetheart in May 1959 and in 1976 moved to Anola. She adapted well to the rural setting and could be seen in earlier years assisting with the livestock while maintaining a garden. Shirley enjoyed being with family, friends and especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In her latter years, she showed great strength and courage in overcoming various medical hurdles, which she continued to carry through her last days. Shirley's funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. in Wojcik's Funeral Home, 437 Park Avenue West, Beausejour, MB with Rev. Wayne Larstone officiating. For those who wish to join the family for the interment in St. John's Church Cemetery in Lowland, Manitoba, you are welcome to accompany the family following the reception. We would like to thank the staff and students on the Palliative Care Unit at St. Boniface Hospital for the kindness and caring for both Shirley and her family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of one's choice. Always remembered, Always cherished, Each memory a part of us, A part of you, Never to be lost.
